block off plate question

i just ordered a block off plate kit from rx7store and i am going to block off ACV, EGR, AWS pipe and solenoid thing, and double throttle. i was wondering what i do with the solenoids that connect to these things. and after i take out the ACV, where do most people mount the turbo control solenoid thats connected to it?

I just let it throw codes with my stock ECU, never seemed to be a problem.

With the connectors, if it's a female end connector you can put a resistor on it to eliminate any ECU codes. The male ended connectors you can just hide.

As far as the turbo control, right now, mine is just tucked under the UIM right now in the same location unbolted.

I zip tied my turbo control solenoid to to the solenoid rack. I bent the two hard lines to go to the rack. Just make sure you get the lines put back on correctly. If you don't you get all kinds of boost problems! Take a look at this thread (https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=296890). On the closeup pics of the rat nest you can see two zip ties on the rack tat are holding the TCS in place. Unforutnately you can see the TCS itself though.

This eleminated EGR and the Airpump, but what I never understood was the double TB... what benifits this blockoff I thought the TB worked like a car, with a primary TB and then the secondaries for when you romped on it.

Also does the blockoff kit cause any illeffects with a stock ECU such as added boost and possible fuel cutoff?

The benefit of doing away with the double butterfly throttle plates is that you can get rid of the plates themselves, the actuator, a couple of vac lines, and a solenoid in the rack. You just have to make sur you don't floor it when cold because the car will make full boost.
