Question Blitz FMIC + Fluidyne + R1 package?

Does anyone know if I can install a Fluidyne Radiator into my R1 with a Blitz FMIC? My stock one was a tight squeeze so I am not sure if the Fluidyne will fit. I have seen it installed in a Touring model but they don't have that damn oil line in the way. My car has been down now for 5 weeks and I finally got to take it back out yesterday with no problems and then today at my shop the bastard started blowing coolant everywhere. So now my car is down again until I get a new radiator. I would rather go Fluidyne but stock may be my only chance. Any input would be great. Thanks, Scott

We're in the same boat.. I've got a koyo which is another 1/2" thicker, and after staring at that big oil crossover line for an hour or two, I'm running around with the stock radiator. Someone posted that they managed to fit it together, but he had to pull the cross-member (which I currently use to mount my ast & battery to) and bend the oil line. With the stock rad, though, the fans are RIGHT up on that oil line.. gonna have to find an inch and a bit somewhere in there.

Oh yeah i did pull out the crossmember. That only because i wanted to use stock fans.. You can get slimmer fans and keep your crossmember.

Did you have an R1? What did you do to go around the oil line?

I removed the crossmember today and cut the battery attachment piece off and attached that small piece back on. It fit in there fine with a little muscle to get the oil lines pushed back far enough so now I have the Blitz FMIC, AC Condensor, and the Fluidyne Radiator in my R1. Thanks God.
