Does somebody have pics of black FD with black wheels. I've seen some pictures and they look bad a$$.

Batman's 3rd gen has stock wheels powder coated black, if I remember correctly. Try searching under his name.

 

I am ordering the FEED copy front, and my FD is black, and I should be getting some new wheels sometime soon, I am getting them powdercoated black too. I have been sporting the black/black look for a while already because I still have my black konigs still on my car and I like it. I know the konigs were supposed to be gone a while ago, but this local guy with a 2nd gen can't seem to come through will all of my money, so far he's only gave me half of it. But the best about this combo is when people say that when you are moving, all the see is taillights...

I have a black car with gunmetal RZ wheels. I think black on black is too dark unless you have a polished lip.

Black on Black is nice...aggressive, but classier than having a light colored wheel on a dark car. i'm going that route, but will have a polished or colored lip. Undecided whether to get Advan SA3R's (black 3 spoke with red lip) or Work Meister S2R's (gunmetal deepdish 5 spoke with polished lip)

Any chance of a picture of a black FD with Gunmetal RZ wheels?

I am about to have my stock wheels powdercoated in gunmetal finish, and I would love to see a picture of how they will look when finished on my black FD

Here is my car with black stock rims that the previous owner ran. They cracked so it is back to silver now (until I order new wheels for the street and put real rubber on the stockers ) I personally think the car looks to dark with black on black. A machined lip would help a lot but I'm going to stick to gunmetal or lighter for my next set.

 

My car has Black center sections with silver lips. I think it looks good. Pic in my sig.

I dunno. Black with Black wheels is a little TOO much black for me.

Where did you get the rz wheels? I am very intrigued and have never been able to find them.

 

I have to say that I like the black rims....sweeeeeet...
I've just never been a fan of bright silver or chrome. Here's a question I have. In GT3 on PS2(ya ya, I know its only a game, but most of the crap they have is reality based). Anyway, in the game, Enkei makes these rims that are black/dark gunmetal have a red rind along the outside edge...looks way cool on a black FD. problem...looked at Enkei's website, ebay, everything...do these rims even exist? anyone know if any that resemble that description?

I have seen enkei rp01's on grand turismo 2 that are black with a blue lip, but that is the only colored enkei's I have ever seen. I haven't even played gt3 yet. And yeah I tried looking for them too and could never find them. Might be one of those wheels that we just didn't get over here and they no longer produce or something.

 

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ... maybe they're not the RZ wheels. I think I was up way too late ... I don't remember typing that! I guess it was all a blur, I may have the trim levels mixed up. I have the new 5-spoke wheels in gunmetal. Pictures? Well the car is on jackstands right now, missing half of the sheetmetal, motor, and almost the entire interior. Not exactly picture material!

 

I would have to say that race1's car looks the best wit the black wheels.. I dont care much for the stock wheels being powercoated black. And on top of that everything behind the wheel is black 2.. Wit race1's car u c his rotors and calipers and it looks bad a$$.. But batman does have a nice car

I bought the simmons 3 pc wheels with the charcoal/black centers and machined lip, they're at wheel and tire zone ready to be picked up. I'll post picks once I pick em up.

thats the look that all the honda boys are goin after now.

i think black wheels on any color car makes it look like it just doesn't belong on the street. . which is a good thing in a way. i personally like gunmetal wheels more than black ones.
