black air tank?

Hey guys...There is a black plastic "tank" that sits just under the front engine hook... for starters I would really like to know what this is. And more importantly there is a vac hose comming out of the back of it. Mine looks is broken and I'd really like to replace the hose but i don't know what it hooks up to. Can anybody help me out. thanks guys.

It's a vacuum pressure tank. If the line on the back is broken, you will have a vacuum leak. That's bad!

Just follow the hose, and replace it. Be carefull when you remove the end that is still connected. Many of the parts are plastic, and brittle.

it would be hard to explain, the diagram is great and you should be able to fix it with ease when you see it.
