big probalems after installing greddy elbow

Ok i need help. I just put in a new ic along with the greddy elbow. after installing the whole thing i started my car and it ran like crap. idle went from 200 too 700 then back down again and eventually stalled. I fooled around with the area for a while and eventuually found that I had knocked a hose off from where it was supposed to be. The little hose went from the upper intake manifold to some kind of electrical censor just above and to the right of the elbow. the hose had a little plastic bubble/nipple thing on it. I put it back on and started the car again-the car stalled again and now won't even start-i think its flooded. -does anyone know what that little hose is and if it could have been the problem and now my car is just flooded? I really hope that was the problem but am not sure. also how do i get my car started now that it is flooded? brand new paint job about 5 days ago so not in the mood to push the car. thanks

You knocked the hose from the manifold to the MAP sensor.

The idle would be brutal with the hose off, and you would be running super rich at idle.

It sounds like you flooded the motor. It should start and run ok.

Best of luck
