Big or Huge increase?

Before my motor blew it was a stock motor with only a catback runn 10lbs of boost. When I get my new mtoor in (13 days..) Ill have:

full exaust (dp, mp, cb)
FMIC
PFC
14lbs of boost
Walbro High flow fuel Pump

How big you think a difference this wil be?

UPDATE: CAVILEIR VS ME

He has the following mods:

built internals (whatever you can do to a piston motror)
S/C at 6psi
All bolst ons (full exaust, headers, cams, cam gears, etc.)
125 shot wet of giggle juice.

Can I take him!? I almost **** myself when i saw all this stuff.. and when he purged the N20 when he drove by me (Standing in parking lot).

Can I fill up on 114(half-tank) and run 16-17psi for 2-3 runs? Will this be safe? What should I be hitting? I will be practing on launching! It will be recored from 4 different views, one inside my car (93 RX7), one in his (97 Z24), one at the tree, and one at the end. Ill upload after its done. This is for 300$. So should I take his money from candly like a baby?

hmm.. Josh

I don't know how you will do in the race because I don't follow cavs but you will also **** yourself when you drive your car after all those mods.

Why didn't you get a port while your motor was out?
Well any way get an intake or get 2 k & n filters and make one yourself that should help. Also did you have your fuel filter changed and the injectors cleaned while you were having the rebuild done? Hows the clutch? I would also change all of the fluids everywhere (tranny, brakes, flush coolant which I'm guessing they did?)

I don't know if it is a good idea to run 16 or 17 psi without upgrading the injectors but with the commander you should be able to see what the injector duty cycles. I think 14 psi is perfectly safe and I would keep it there and see how hard your injectors are working and then maybe go up a little if you have to but I wouldn't.

ALSO I JUST REALIZED THIS.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU ARE GOING TO RACE YOUR CAR AFTER THE RUBUILD WITHOUT DOING THE 1K MILE BREAKIN PERIOD WITH NO OR LIGHT BOOST AND THEN A OIL CHECK.

I think this race is pretty gay and if you aren't careful you will have a bill for another rebuild and 300 dollars.

I love sounding like my dad
how did I do?

The motor has been broken in by a dyno. 3k on it already. Oil change after i drive it 500 miles.

It also is a extended ported motor with 3mm seals. opps.. forgot..

Everything else is good. All fluids and matiene will be done. Already did the poorman intake mod

Eat crow man! Sorry i didnt mention all the facts..

No it's not eat crow man it's thank you for trying to save my *** but I already checked all of that stuff.

How did they break it in on the dyno? That sounds kinda weird. Hopefully it was put into different gears and different rpms not just let it sit there in 3d at 3000 rpms for 3000 miles.

Why would you do this any way? Isn't that a huge waste of gas when you could break in the motor actually driving the car and using it to go places or do you still have your permit or something?

sounds like you know everything man don't embarrass the rx7 learn how to launch and burn that ricer pos.

I second the 350-360 rwhp if it is tunred right...... The cav probably just looks fast because you are so used to watching them drive slow Oh yeah, don't harm your car for $300, it cost much more to fix.....

I would think that you would take him at your planned 14 psi setup with no need to go higher. How much do Cavliers weigh? How much power will he be (trying) to put down? Say you have 330 RWHP and weigh 3200 lbs (with camera man). He probably isn't anywhere near 330 WHP even with the nitrous shot and is probably near the same weight.

Well, I would say w/ boost and a nitrous shot he could be close to 300-350 hp, but my motor spins so I don't know.... What does power transfer look like? Is he on a stock fwd single wheel drive? What size tires does he have..... If they are skinny you know for sure he wont touch you..... Those cars are not built for power so there is much more then just motor to make them fast....

For $300 I'd have only about 2-3 gallons of fuel and no extra person in the car. Your advantage is lightness, that extra guy really is not a good idea.

I did a drag simulation for you. 12.40/126mph. Add another 200 lb for other person and you get 12.65/123mph. That .25 second et might lose you $300.

I'd say those mods are a huge difference...I was running 12 psi and 13 psi on a PMS and took it out and now running 10 psi...big difference, the stuff your doing is HUGE

damn! sorry.. no, it was run 500 mile a peice with fdifferent gears and different rpms.

first 500 they didnt go over 3krpms : oil change
next 1000: not over 3.5k :oil change
and then 1000 more, not over 4k: oil change

car was set at low boost (4-6lbs.. never really kicked in). Motor was taken through various temps also.

Sounds good to me. I dont have a permit!.. I just wantit broken in already so I can practice launghing and spank the cavy!! He should land around 300whp (with 125 shot) on his stock rims and tire . No camera guys! Whoever said it was right.. dont need the weight.

If it comes to driver ill take him, funny thing is its a auto! All he has is a shift kit.. im not sure the stock tranny can take 300whp.. yes he is FWD . hahaa

I dont know really anything.. P Cola FD knows his **** though. I just learn from him .

Ricer POS is going down!!

Why anyone would put that kind of money in a POS Cavalier econobox is beyond me. I don't think you'll have any problems.

Can you say "domestic rice!". He likes the boody kits they make for them.. and he says "the real tweaked ones have a supercharger.. they are fast.. its add 230hp!"

It takes it from 160@?rpm to 230hp@6krmpm.. hah 10 hp per lb.. o well.. moron
