big hose on the TB elbow?

i just got done from putting my greddy hard pipe kit. the only problem is that the greddy elbow doesn't have a hole for the big hose that was on the stock elbw. is that hose important?

That hose is for the AWS. If you have an aftermarket computer such as a Power FC, that hose is no longer used.

AWS = Accelerated Warmup System. This hose just goes down into the intake manifold somewhere. It's okay to plug it, esp. in a warmer climate.

If you do a search on "AWS" or "Greddy intake elbow" you'll find plenty of other background and opinions.

If you have a downpipe (no more pre-cat), the purpose of the AWS has already been defeated anyway.
