Best thing lately, which totally changed the way the FD feels and responds--->>urethane motor mounts, short shifter, and Dragon diff brace. Can't wait to get off work and go for a spin.

Built a carport at work, so it doesn't sit in the sun during the day (if I take it out of the garage, and don't drive another car to work).

I took my 93 mostly stock to have a stage 1 rebuild, new clutch, SS brake and oil return lines, gauges, ACT clutch, recalibrate injectors, replace vacumn hoses with vitron, change all hoses and belts, manual boost controller, and maybe some things I can't remember. More than my budget but what is another $1300, when budget was $6,000. I just can't wait to get it back and feel that it is reliable. Had car since 1993 and have spent only about $1400 on it. I look for it in seven more weeks.

1. using the car as a daily
2. keeping it mostly standard (other then some reliability mods)

Heavily modifying my 2nd gen and keeping it as a weekend car just made it a pain in the *** to own (that and owning 2 cars)

No doubt. The best thing was a downpipe. Engine temps dropped tremendously and turbo spool up was much faster.

haha I have to agree with this one.. all the mods in the world can't pull a FD from the grave.

The best thing I did was to find a rotory expert to rebuild my motor. I was driving the car thinking, "wow , this car is the fastest thing I've ever driven". Imagine what I felt-when my mechcanic showed me the secondary turbo wasn't hooked up and the previous owners also hacked up the wiring harness and replaced things with the wrong parts. Rebuilding it myself, don't even want to think of all the things I'd have missed. I guess my 104HP dyno wasn't that far off afterall. I'll triple that figure when I get it back-something to look forward to!

Still on the waiting-list for mine, however.
