You rebuilt your own engine? Also, how did you 'coat them with ceramic paint?' Please tell me that this was not a spray paint can from Autozone

DOUBLE THROTTLE CONTROL SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION

The response delay of the pressure sensor followed mounted by rapid acceleration temporarily causes a lean fuel mixture. The double throttle control system prevents hesitation caused by this lean fuel mixture by slightly delaying the opening of the double throttle valve after the secondary throttle valve.
The double throttle valve is controlled by the ECU through the solenoid valve.

from F-137 of Mazda RX-7 1993 Workshop Manual.

My recommendations with your goals in mind...

SS downpipe, SS HF cat (metal cat in midpipe) or SS midpipe+ported waste gate+PowerFC, Ti catback (Greddy Ti)
Non restrictive intake (Al hard pipes with K&Ns)
PowerFC computer with good tuning
ASP large or medium intercooler or Efini y-pipe

Recommended as needed or when convenient...

99+ Efini twin turbos or small ball bearing single turbo
ceramic coatings, mild porting, polishing and gasket matching
light flywheel
pulleys
new spark plugs

Not recommended...

CF driveshaft
double throttle elimination
gears

For auto-x if your fast you need to keep your PS. Some slow people will say they win thier local auto-xs without it, SCCA nationals say otherwise, SM2 trophy FDs have PS.

For track and street duty no PS may be OK, it is a personal choice.

I second all of GoodfellaFD3S's comments. Go with a PFC, it's ideal for people running with stock twins, no a BOV with stronger "springs" will add response. If your BOV is leaking air, thats a manufacturer problem and not a power problem. Also opening up your exhaust more will add less spool up time. Less back pressure = faster spool. Yet its hard to equalize that with raising compression due to the requirement of back pressure lol. But since you're turbo... just junk your old exhaust sytem and get a lighter set like what goodfella said, Get a light weight flywheel, remove double thorttle plates, and if your dont want to remove your pulleys, get a lightweight pulley kit.
As for your question with AutoXing with no PS, its a bit of a challenge at some turns but it certainly adds more fun and challenge to it .
