I, like many others need to replace the stock tan floormats. The back rotted out of mine and before I new I could repare them, I threw them away. So I need to find a replacement set. What have people used? Did you like them or dislike them and why. Anybody find replacements as nice as OEM?

I have searched for you because I knew that I was the one that started the thread. I still have my originals and use them when I'm washing my "Anne mats", but these mat are by far the nicest addition to your interior that you will do. I'm not sure how much she is asking for them so you will have to do all of the searching on that yourself.

^ The RX7.COM mats are perfect. I've had a pair for years. The color and fit is right on, all they lack are the embroidery which I don't give a flip about.

I bought some from Tri Point Engineering about 1 1/2 years ago. Nit fit. Good match. I got the ones with no logo. I don't remember the price. They have held up very well so far.

 

I got the Tri Point mats. good fit and match. around $80.00 I think. Call Mark !

This has worked out great.... probably more durable that the original. Make sure you get all the crumbly backing off before you start.

 

can someone pm, me the measurments of the floormats?
with a pic of standard mats,, im going to get some made up and get the RZ logo embroided into them

 

 

These mats were of very high quality, and came with the embroidery (color of your choice).

My guess would be custom. When I was looking for new mats I came across all sorts of custom upholstery places that could make mats however I wanted. But, once I saw the GB FDNewbie was organizing (FDNewbie = quality) I went with those.

 

Fair enough, his look exactly like the oem material in the fd. Looks awesome
