you dont even know what kind of wing you have on your car?

thats the 96+ J-Spec wing, not a WRX wing.

just care about "look" mods?? do you know that the best performing wings are GT wings?? and do you know that C-West and FEED all use GT wings on their race cars?? now can you tell me how the RB Type I performs?? it doesnt. i dont think it adds anything over stock, other than some drag. i would consider it more of a "look" mod than any GT wing.

The price isnt that bad and it goes perfectly with the kit. If I dont get any sort of body kits I think i will end up getting the WRX wing.
That is NOT a WRX wing. It came on the 96-98 FDs in Japan.

Im going to have to go with the 99 j-spec wing. Or something like that. This is all good and such but how about some good links to where we can find good spoilers and be able to compair and such.

I do realize that GT wings are the best performing wings (lighweight, adjustable downforce) BUT they totally destroy the looks of the car in my opinion. I see more ricer Neons, Civics, Accords etc with this wing which serves NO PURPOSE on their car which might accelerate 10 mph every minute past 80 mph - thus technically it could be considered a "look" mod. I will admit on RX-7s it serves more of a purpose but I cringe everytime I see one on an FD.

Chiyo is the brand name I believe. It can only be purchased in Japan last I heard. It is a GT style spoiler. I know it isn't just for looks. My friend, who prob. built more rotary engines then 90% of the people here. Had it on his old FD. He got it up to 187mph so I think it is as good as you can get. He paid $800 for it. If you are seriously interested in buying one, email me and I'll send you some pics of it and see if I can't find out where to get one.

i personally think GT wings look really nice on an FD with a full kit. for exacmple, the C-West kit looks amazing with a GT wing. can you honestly say that a RB Type I wings looks good in conjunction with a C-West body kit??

thats why different wings are for different levels of cars, IMO. for a stock FD, the RB Type I looks amazing, but it will not look good on a kitted car. on the other hand, a Veilside GT wing looks hella nice on a kitted FD, but kinda looks like *** on a stock FD.
