best rear spoiler?

I currently have the Warrior Supra style wing. I think it's really out dated now. I was thinking of even going to the factory wing....
Am I nuts or just getting older?

Does anyone have any pics of their rear spoilers? Could you post them here.

And how would I cover the old holes in the rear lid?

thanks for all replies jc.

I like the Mazdaspeed spoiler. The new '99 or the old Mazdaspeed one. If you get the old one, you don't need to do much to cover the holes since it covers alot of the rear lid. Just plug them up with some rubber or something and your spoiler will cover over it. I also got the OEM spoiler for sale. It's Montego Blue.

I have the Racing Beat Type 1 spoiler.....it's just like the stock 3rd gen rear spoiler only larger......More aggressive without losing the streamline of the body.

RB type I

Here's a pic of the RB type I

and what it looks like on my car:

not sure how functional it is, but it must be better than stock, and looks better IMO

for a stock bodied FD, the RB Type I wing looks really nice. suble, yet aggressive since its sits a few inches higher that the stock one. for FD's with a body kit, the Velside GT Carbon Fiber wing looks much nicer. (i dont think an RB Type I wing will look too good on an FD with a full C-West kit for example).

My thoughts resemble those of JoeD's. It all depends on what else the car has on it. It's not a simple matter of which one is best, rather, which one will match up to what you have already.

I like the racing beat Type 2 wing.. or the mazdaspeed one that looks exactly the same.. i have the mazdaspeed wing, and think it looks really aggresive.. more so than the 99spec wing.. though it's similar..

I love the wing TTT has. That is my favorite. Now back to reality, I like the RB type 1 along with everyone else if the exterior is mostly stock. It might look good with a full body kit.

I have the RB Type II on a stock body and like it better than the stock wing. I do, however, plan on upgrading the rest of the body with a kit in the future, which is why I went with this wing, but it does look nice on a stock body.
I just think the 99, Mazdaspeed and the RB II look very nice with the curves of the body. One of the few cars which that style wing actually looks nice.

My favorite is the Chiyo self adjusting Wing. It self adjusts the downforce as your speed increases and decreases. Kruf on the forum had one on his old FD. Cost is around $800 from Japan.

you forgot to mention that its $1900! honestly, the FEED kinda looks like the RB Type I except with the middle part carbon fiber. other than that, they are about the same width and height. paint the FEED wing all one color and adjust the carbon fiber to sit flush with the rest of the wing, and an average person will not be able to tell the difference between it and the RB Type I.

the funny thing is-i have a black FD-so it would all be the same color anyhow.

I dunno-something about the FEED wing flows better with the lines of the car than the RB wing.

And 1900 bucks? It is a lot. But I don't plan on getting any bodywork until I'm well into my performance mods first. By then, I should be bored enough to fly out to japan and pick one up.

I will agree that the Racing Beat Type I spoiler is the best. Not too showy, but it complements the lines great and looks good from any angle. GT spoilers along with Supra style spoilers look terrible in my opinion - leave these to the ricer boys who just care about "look" mods.

Slotter I like your wing.... I think its actually the stock WRX wing. Looks good on our car. I want to eventually get the Mazdaspeed GTC kit so Im going to go with their GT spoiler. The price isnt that bad and it goes perfectly with the kit. If I dont get any sort of body kits I think i will end up getting the WRX wing.
