I made mine for $17 bucks with all the parts purchased at Home Depot! It does make a difference.

This would have to be a good thing for drag racing,at the very least it may save a motor mount.
I have a complete rear launch kit w/all hard bushings and can only assume this would really rattle my teeth but so what my car isn't a daily driver. How does it hold up to about 20 holeshots ?

What materials? PVC pipe? 2x4s? Wrought iron? Steel conduit? Maybe the forged handle of a huge pipe wrench?

I'll admit it ain't pretty, but it works. I decided to buy a midpipe with the money I saved by doing the Ghetto Torque Brace.

I bought a 1/2" x 8" eye bolt and 1/2" x 12" eybolt and connected them via a 2" hex bolt connector(allows for adjustment). Then I bought 2.5" bolts w/ 1/2" threads and big *** washers & nuts. In order to take up the space within the huge "eye", I threaded an extra 1/2 nut on the bolt and stuck a rubber PVC grommet inside to soak up some vibration as well. Also, I needed an "L" bracket to connect it to the fender wall(using the threaded holes already there) and that's it.

I was thinking of ordering professional looking rod ends and SS or aluminum tubing but that **** is too hard to find and I have no patience. If I ever get **** about how my engine looks I'll probably make a nicer one. Now, I'm just waiting for the midpipe to arrive.

But for now my driveline is tight.
