Best gauge combo?

(I did search and it wasn't precise enough)

Guys I have 3 empty spots and I'd like to fill them DUH!
so according to your opinions what would be the best gauge set to get? I already have the boost gauge and wideband covered. water temp? EGT? oil temp? fuel pressure? oil pressure?

PLEASE SPEAK

personally i would go water and oil temp for sure, the last is up too you. i also think if you have a wideband a EGT gauge may be overkill, but then again i may be wrong on this.

Wideband plus EGT would be a bit excessive. EGT is generally what you use before you get a wideband.

I'd get water temp, oil temp and oil pressure. Fuel pressure gauges belong under the hood. Mine is next to the UIM. The only time that gauge will be handy is when you're troubleshooting the fuel system. If fuel pressure drop while you're driving, you won't be able to react in enough time to save your engine.

if you get the PFC then it will have a water temp, air intake temp and such built in so there is no reason to get two of them.

It's not exactly convenient to reach down and grab the commander in the middle of a race to see if your boost, water or AITs. It's much better to have them in a gauge on the a-pillar or center speaker grille.

What's your deal, man? That's the second time in this thread you've gone against everyone else with completely bad advice...

I have a PFC for that exact reason. I didnt want to put gauges all over my interior but the commander is really annoying to read. Even when you do mount it in a location that you can read while driving it sucks horribly. If the LCD was backlit or something it would be better, either way, looking at the position of a needle is easier than looking at number on an LCD.
