I'm putting my transmission back together finally and starting to write up the pics and notes I have. What's best?

1) Powerpoint or Word
2) PDF file
3) Make a big forum thread

1 and 2 are easiest for me to make, and I can use arrows and other stuff to point stuff out in the pictures. But a forum thread doesn't need separate web hosting.

How about a a few pages on a your ISP-hosted website?

 

Mine are full. Have a good cheap suggestion for hosting some pages?

 

There's always the free myspace.com, but that's more a blogger host. PDF will work and we'd want to have it archived. Threads may get deleted or the board could be hacked again. Maybe someone could offer you some space. Mine's full also.

PDF. Once my server is up again, I can host, though I'm only on a 256k up speed, but hey, it's free.

 

PDF is by far the best method IMO because you have Mac/PC/Unix cross platform functionality and you don't have to deal with links to pics (that inevitably end up as red Xs).

If you make a PDF, I'll be putting a copy up on my website

 

I'm about to start a big archive of all the useful stuff I've come across over time and host it on my site.
