Best bang for the buck spark plug wires?

Don't really want to search on this boring subject. What are the best wires, not too expensive? I'm running with 4xBUR9EQ

Thanks!

If your at stock levels, factory is fine. If your modified with aftermarket ecu and ignition, run something that has the best suppression of EMI. I run the Magnacor Kv85 based on the research and EMI problems I was having with a cheap set of low resistance wires. You don't wanna just run any wire as EMI, can cause eletrical glitches with the engine management. Read this then decide.

The stock NGK wires are fantastic. They're like $25 a set new, fit perfect, color coded boots, and top quality.

IMHO I don't think you're going to find any horsepower out of wires. Just get the NGK's and be done.

I think the Taylor 10mm were my favorite for fit and secure Connection

Magnecore too

I dont know about best bang for the buck. that would probably be stock old ones left in until you have a problem or realize you're making less power or have less responsiveness

I use the stock blue NGK wires, as the quality is very good for the price $40 here in Australia.

No need for anything else for me, nor would I consider anything aftermarket, as I've seen some poor quality aftermarket stuff.

As if it's needed, another vote for stock NGK.

OEM replacement NGK wires. A lot of other wires don't fit properly and tend to pop off the coils.

1 year later: one of my NGK trailing wire is definitely shot. Thanks to the lifetime warranty.

Huh...well I guess anything can happen.
I replaced my 14 yr old OEM NGKs with new NGKs about 9 years ago 'just cuz' during a rebuild. They're all still going strong.

I went through several brands and Taylor had the best fit, finish and quality. Never had an issue where other high end brands didn't snap into place or fell apart after taking on and off. The Taylor blue were spot on

To be fair, I said OEM NGK wires as they are very good for the price, and many people have reported a long life out of them.

Few people have issues with the NGKs, but you may get a bad batch of any product, like anything else.

I also have Taylor Cable wires on my other car- an LS V8 and they are also very good quality and I recommend them too. But Taylor is extremely pricey here in Australia as they have to be imported from the USA- 200 dollars for a set of Taylor LS V8 wires landed to Australia.

The FD NGK wires are 40 bucks landed to me. Mine have been on the car since 2013 and zero issues.

Maybe also due to the fact that the v8 wires are probably long and use a lot more material.
