Ok so i will just attempt to find a touring some time in the future and convert over to an R2 or whatever, i'll get aftermarket suspension instead of getting their stock suspension. I'de probably make it a long-term project because my 2nd gen is going to empty my pockets and sell my life into slavery for 10c a month lol

Actually the '94 R2 got chunkier and put on 14lbs over the 93 plus the suspension softened up a bit becoming more like the '93 base/touring setup

Still, the only 'real' RX-7's I consider are the SP, the RS-R, most year RZ's, and now the new Bathurst R

Every third gen model is/was sweet compared to most other cars. None of them are bad, but they are all good.

Heh, I guess we never got any "real" RX-7s here in North America then... just "fake" RX-7s. I'm gonna ask for my money back... I didn't know they were selling us fake RX-7s.

I have an R2, I didn't want the cruise control or sunroof (hell it may leak with my luck). I wanted a RACE car and that my friends is what I bought. If I didn't buy the R2 I would have tried to get the base model stripped w/o sunroof or cc but I think that would have been hard to find so I just buckled down and spent a little more for the R2. AND I AM HAPPY AS PUNCH THAT I DID...
