Hi all.

Newer here having just acquired my first 7 a few months ago. The cluster was not working so I sent it out to Mochael Gagne to fix it and he did an awesome job. The car does not have an airbag anymore and the former seller pulled the light socket from the cluster. While the cluster was out being fixed, I also prepped the hardwrie kit for my Uniden but haven't fuse-tapped it yet as i need an extension. This is all for background.

The cluster came back and i got everything reinstalled, still no fuse tap, but now I am getting these beeps woth the key in the ignition and doors closed. I know the slow chimes are the airbag but the 7/8/5 fast beeps are new. If i start the car it becomes a solod chime that doesnt go away.

It sounds like it is coming from the driver dead pedal area. Also you can see this weird red wire that seems to be dangling even though it looks like it has a spade terminal on it?

I searched the FSM but am not finding anything. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Maybe you have an alarm system. Check in the dead pedal area maybe you'd be able to identify it.

 

Unplug the flasher relay and see if it stops. Good chance that's where it's coming from
