BeCool radiator for FD's

I was at the PRI (professional racing industries) convention in Indianapolis this past weekend and I happen to be in the market for a new radiator for my '94 so I made it a point to hit all the radiator manufacturers on display there. I've hit the BeCool website before but there was never anything on their site showing a radiator for our application (or any mazda that I could see). However, in their '05 catalog I just picked up it listed a new line of sport-compact applications, one of which is '92-'95 RX-7!

The only info it gives on dimensions is Core: 22W x 12 H, Radiator: 24W x 15H

They offer it in natural and polished finish. The website still doesn't show them if you search by application, but if you seach by part #'s, the dimensions I just listed show up (natural part # 65023, polished part # 65123). There is also a note on fitment that states "With driver-side water pump outlet". Is that fitment note of any concern?

The rep they had at the booth stated outright that he didn't know much about the specifics of the sport-compact radiator applications they have, but he said to call the 800 number in the catalog and ask for "Troy", he should be able to tell me anything I need to know. No word on price yet.

I plan on calling next week to find out more info including price. If there are any specific questions you all want to know, post it or PM me and I'll try to find out.

I appologize if this is old news, for all I know everybody already has a BeCool radiator in their FD's, but I did a search for the name and nothing came up.

Forgot to mention, there was also a company by the name of "Northern" that offered an all-aluminum radiator for the '93-'96 RX-7. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Are these the same BeCool that sells radiators for $600+ in Summit and the such? If so, I can't wait to see the price. They sure are entering the game late and in a market in which we already have a large selection of radiators.

Yes, we're talking about the same BeCool. I plan on calling their tech line this afternoon to get more info. I'll keep you all updated.

It may be the same radiator setup used by a few 3 rotor guys i've know. Basically a generic size which demension wise fits the car. (have to make custom brackets)

Update - I spoke with the sport-compact guy at BeCool this morning and unfortunately, they don't yet offer the RX-7 application. He said they're at least 3-4 months away from having a product ready, they're still in the design phases. We are talking about an OE replacement though, no bracket fabrication required.

On the up-side for me, I may get to be the guinnea pig for the prototype which would mean a discount of some sort when it comes to market I should know more about that in a week or so. As for this thread though, it looks like it's a little premature. If I get any more info, I'll be sure to post it here.
