Baseline dyno numbers
I thought that I would have better numbers. But according to the people I've talked to already it seems that I'm right on par. Here's the verdict though.
Testing from 2,500rpm to 7,000rpm in 4th gear
Max power : 237.4
Max torque: 187.4
My torque and horsepower lines on the graph were dead smooth though so that's a good thing. Also, right around the 6,600 mark I started to shoot up high in both hp and torque so I'm thinking that I should've maxed out the gear. I just didn't want to run too high since I'm not tuned yet. Here's my mods by the way.
Rebuilt engines and turbos with approx. 4,500 miles
Apex'i twin intakes
3" DP
Racing Beat dual tip CB
Mild streetport
What do you guys think??

Low, thats worse then what people get at altitude. I would remconend a computer, that would help, what did your a/f look like. You should be in the 300rw with those mods.

i believe stock rwhp is around 220 or so. Thus your numbers are pretty low, including the torque. I believe stock torque is considerably higher than that. What was your boost pressure and what ecu do you have? I would think a streetport doesn't run kindly with the stock ecu.

Yeah, boostedrex, those numbers are low for the mods but with some tuning with a PFC or even a Pettit unlimited ecu, you can pull those numbers up. Also, what was your boost pattern? You have 4 mods which is over the 2-3 mod limit for the stock ecu - especially with a streetport. Get that thing outta there or try to keep your boost to 10 psi. With a computer and intercooler you can run much more boost (13-14 psi) on the stockers and get up past 320 rwhp. Don't worry about the BNR upgrades right now as you'll be pleasantly surprised what a computer and intercooler could do for you. Make sure you don't have a boost leak also

Numbers are a little low. should be around 225rwhp stock so you only gained 13rwhp from opening up the intake and the exhaust some. What ecu are you using, since you mentioned tuning?

As the others have said, those numbers are very low, especially your torque. I hit 240 rwhp and 225 ft-lbs with only a downpipe and cat-back at stock boost.
1. What kind of dyno was it? A dynojet or some other type? What correction factors, if any, were applied?
2. What boost level did you see for the run?
3. What A/F ratios did you see for the run? If the dyno shop you went to does not have a wideband, go somewhere else.
I agree with the others -- get that stock ecu out of there! The streetport, especially, requires an aftermarket ecu to change the timing and fuel curve. That said, if you keep the boost to 10 psi, you should be safe, if not ideal.

I still have the stock ECU. I'm getting the PFC and have a shop with a wideband that can tune it for me. I was thinking that my numbers were low. Now I know where to start working. THE ECU!!!! Well, thanx for you help guys. I know that I'm running disgustingly rich so that will rob me of some power as well. I figure once I get my PFC and get the car tuned right that my numbers will surely jump to where they are supposed to be. If anyone else has any ideas please give me a shout. By the way it was a Dynojet that I was on. I don't know the correction factors however.
