I was wondering the same thing about the red car, I have no more pics with that car in it, I'll have to ask my uncle the next time I talk to him.

The only reason I haven't posted more pics is because I'm reluctant to give away her location until the title has been signed over.

There's no way to verify if it's a base or not from just those pics. But so far, so good. Base seats, no cruise control on steering wheel...and that's about all we can see lol
You look new to the forum. I'd HIGHLY suggest that you check this website out BEFORE you purchase the car - no matter HOW nice it looks or how few miles it has: http://rx7.voodoobox.net/infofaq/bguide3g/bguide3g.html and if you can, take it to a shop that specializes in RX-7s. Taking the car to a Mazda dealership to check it out won't tell you ANYTHING. They don't know enough about these cars. Please take my word for this. If you read up on the forum, you'll see that's the case.
You don't want to drop $14K on a perfect interior and exterior, only to find the engine's blown or the turbos are dead etc...cuz you'll be looking at another $5K plus EASY.

The car is getting two inspections, the first one turned up that the car basically needs a full service (brakes, fluids, belts), but it also showed that the front end is "misaligned". The guy said to take it to a front-end specialist to get it checked because he wasn't sure. If it passes the front end inspection, it's going on to tri-point engineering for the mechanical inspection.
The seller either did not know or didn't disclose that the car needs to be serviced, so if it passes inspection from the front end specialist, we will try to get her to come down on price more to cover servicing the car.
I was really kind of hoping to flip this car and make a few bucks, because although I love rx7's to death, a honda s2000 would be so much more practical for someone in my financial and personal situation.
What do you guys think I could sell her for anyway? The exterior is flawless (like the interior), and we'll assume that the car gets serviced and that the mechanical aspect of the car checks out.

And they are base seats, so all things point towards it being a base. Granted someone could have switched out the seats, but why would someone do that?
