All FDs in the US came with cruise with the exception of the R1 or R2. It is not an option, it either has it or it is an R1 or R2 which does NOT have the option of cruise.

Factory cruise can be easily installed on a R1 or R2, all the wiring is in place.

I have leather seats, cruise on steering wheel, dual oil coolers, front RX-7 strut brace, sunroof and no bose sound all stock...
Do I have some kind of hybrid?

My guess is you have an R1/R2 model with leather seats and cruise added. Both of which are very easy to put in.

Or you could have a base model that someone added dual oil coolers and a strut bar, less likely though.

One more option... if your car is an auto you may be mistaking the tranny cooler for a passenger oil cooler. This would make your car a base model.

I have a '93 base with leather seats... too bad, I like the cloth base seats.

Base model could have cloth seats like the pics in this thread or leather seats. But I have never seen base model with blk or red leather seats. All base leather seats I've seen are tan.
And like others said, it came with cruise control.

And cloth seats never came in any other car except base. And they are one of the hardest seats to find (used). Well, thru my experience.

Lukan, you have a touring. NO BASE OR R1/R2 had sunroof. Someone added and removed stuff.. unless your sunroof is aftermarket.

I've met a guy who bought an FD with all the options for the FD... dual oil cooler, bose, sunroof, cruise, R1 lip, spoiler, etc.. and he said that it used to be Mazda Demo car. It traveled around the country to different Mazda dealership... I guess yours could be one like that.. but without bose system.

Ferrari 328 it is! I saw the vote for NSX and chuckled... the scoop on the NSX would be a lot lower in the pic. I doubt you'd see a bit of it through the window.

What about a PEG?? My FD has the leather seats, spoiler, CC, sunroof and no Bose. Is it a touring, PEG, base + options??

Does anybody know what this car is worth? I look on autotrader and see vastly varying prices for '95's, but if I decide to sell this, what price would I be looking at actually getting for her?

It is a PEG.

Not a Touring.

Not a Base.

I don't see why people get so confused on models. Options on FDs were VERY limited, Base models with leather are about the only major option besides auto trans. Everything else was option packages, Base, R1/R2, Touring (93-94 only) and PEP/PEG (94-95 only).

That's it!

Stuff like rear spoiler, front lip, etc are dealer accesories. R1/R2 oil coolers on other models means someone added the second on over the years, it was not an option.

Thanks Jeff. Whenever you read about someone's FD, it's always Base, R1/R2 or Touring, never the PEG's. And yes, my FD is a 94....

Well, there's not much I would change about my FD, but damn, those base seats are nice..... I've never been big on leather, they just seem more trouble than they're worth.

My post was at 3am...I definitely didn't see those cruise control buttons at 3am lol. I saw them now.

All I'm trying to say is, such a narrow shot doesn't tell us much. You'd have to look at a couple other things.

And they are base seats, so all things point towards it being a base. Granted someone could have switched out the seats, but why would someone do that?
Sorry, but that doesn't say jack. I've seen MANY an FD w/ base seats that weren't base models...I've seen PEPs/Tourings w/ R seats...I've seen R seats with leather seats...ppl DO switch out seats (for many various reasons). So going just by the seats is very inaccurate, at best.

Alcoholic, if the front end is misaligned, make sure you take it to a professional body shop and have it THOROUGHLY inspected for frame damage. I also hope you're having a compression test, testing the turbos boost pattern, and checking the Carfax report! (don't forget the obvious things!)

Carfax was the first thing done, it's actually at a professional body shop in los angeles which my uncle's friend owns. They inspected it and came to the conclusion that it has never been wrecked.

The car is going to tri-point engineering in gardena for a complete mechanical inspection.

I have no clue what it is lol. I don't even have any idea what normally goes there.

It sucks not even being able to see the car that I'm about to buy in person.
