bad vibration (searched)

Alright, i just my FD back on the road in mid february and ever since ive had a bad vibration. I dont know what it is. Its only when the wheel is straight or turned. The car has been in an accident(not bad, just a dented fender and door) and im beggining to think that may be a factor. I took the diff out of my other fd that got hit and totalled. So i guess i could have a bent axel or something. Kd didnt say anything when i had them install it. Just trying to get an idea its really getting on my nerves. and when ur on 95 and you turn right it rattles the whole dash and the whole car. Thanks guys

i dont thinik it could be the bushing due to it only being there when you turn right or stay straight. If you turn left its completely gone.

Depends on how bad the vibrations are... IMO I wouldnt drive it until you figure things out. You check all the control arms, tierods, links, swaybars, etc. to see if they are all straight?

It's always difficult to diagnosis a car long distance, but in this case, you haven't even given us enough information to start. First of all, does this vibration feel like it's coming from the front or the rear?
You say it occurs when the wheel is straight or turned. Well, what else is there? The wheel is always either straight or turned. Does it happen all the time? (I'm guessing it does not.) So, you need to clarify this.
Is there anyway you can separate the structural from the suspension for us? Does it feel like a suspension or wheel bearing problem? Or is it the unibody / powerplant frame that seems to be acting up? I can start guessing a million things, but until you describe the symptoms better, I don't think you're going to get too far.

Start by doing two things. Drive with your windows down and see if you can pinpoint some type of noise. Also have a friend follow you in another car and see if he picks up anything.

It sounds like part of the drivetrain or exhaust is hitting part of the body. When you turn one direction, the drivetrain moves closer to the body on the side that hits. Turning the other direction increases the gap.

My first downpipe hit the body on full acceleration, but I later found that the cause was a bad motor mount.

hmm alright max i will definently check that out. As for more details. I dont what else to tell you. Its kinda hard to tell where exactly its coming from. Since it just hums its hard to pinpoint. I always have my windows and cant tell. It ONLY happens when you turn the wheel to the right, if the wheel is turned left it stops. If the wheel is dead center it only gets really loud at high speeds. If i go on a high speed road (i.e 65 70mph and change lanes to the right. The whole dash rattles and looks like its gonna fall apart. Someone told me it was the motor mount i will definentaly have to look at that. And the exhaust. Thanks max, and everyone else.
