Bad ignition switch? What are the symptoms?

Bad ignition switch? What are the symptoms?
No power to ECU
Power to EVERYTHING else, doors, windows, lights, radio, etc.
Car turns over, but does not start/fire.
Tried stock ECU, same problem.
Checked Fuses, they're good. I actually pulled them out and inspected.
If my ignition switch is bad, will the car still get power and not start? And what would make my ECU just not turn on?
The car was running and then it just died. Engine just off.
