MPG will vary on your driving style. the more you boost the faster you'll be at the gas station.

most people dont care about mpg. remember fds are not exactly economic/environmently friendly cars.

btw: turn your caps key off.

That's wat i was getting (till i blew the motor ). I averaged to about 10-15 mpg. Anyways, gas goes with the territory, just as RxSeven1 stated. And welcome to the rotary world.

if you're driving it "normal" that's pretty bad.

100 to 120 miles... that's like 5 or 6mpg though and that's on a stock car excet that cat back? have you changed your plugs, oil, other fluids lately? check the plugs. i was down around 12-15mpg on mine... drop in new plugs, new air filter (another big one to check) and new plug wires. now i'm getting 20mpg everyday 25 on the highway. yours probably won't be that high because i baby mine a little bit too much still (only had her for 3 months and i'm a little paranoid yet) but that might make some difference.

How many miles do you have on your car?? I think the problem could be the o2 sensor needs to be changed.

i get about 20/26 in my LS1 powered FD. I remember before the swap, it was about 13/20. I filled up after every 2 days. I hated it. That was one of the reasons I did the swap. Especially DC 93 premium prices. $2.00UP.

I got 250 miles to a tank on my old FD that needed a rebuilt (75 PSI on compression check) and the car had intake, SMIC, DP, CB and chipped ECU. oh and 140XXX miles on the original motor.

100-120 miles is about 5-6mpg, thats what i was getting also.I had 100psi compression but i've rebuilt the engine since.
I noticed on strip down that one secondary injector looked more like a carboned spark plug and part of the paper LIM to block gasket had perished.

Unless you are on the freeway, cruising at a steady speed, you are going to get lousy gas mileage in an FD. That's just the way it is.

Pugg57, BG44K is a very good injector cleaner.

The glass man gets good mileage because he always drives downhill

mileage

I get about 14-15 miles a gallon with mixed driving.
(around town, to work, and jumping on the throttle)

On the highway I got about 18 miles to the gallon.
I have 68K on my engine.

100-120 on 1 tank is cause for concern. I get better than that on the track boosting 80% of the time at 6K RPM. On the street I get around 20 and have seen as high as 28 with pure highway driving.

Yea 100-120 is def. abnormal.

I'd say I get about 200 miles to the tank, but lately the way I drive (purely for enjoyment & thrills), I fill up ever 2 days (that's filling up when I hit quarter tank)

That, and I'm sure I rank somewhere up there w/ the worst driving style/habits...there was once when I filled up twice in the same day (and im pretty sure it was less than 100 miles later lol)

interesting - i get about 14-15 as well w/ mix driving. I would LOVE 20 MPG. I wonder what the secret is. Perhaps I should change my fuel filter.
