it really depends on your habits, but i really find it hard to believe that someone can get like 17 or 18 mpg city in stock form.. you must be driving SLOOOOOWWWWW

to replace everything...sensors, injectors, filter, etc... how much cost are we talking bout?...i'm looking into gettin an fd very very soon and the ones i got my eye on are all stock, so i'm gonna do that fuel stuff asap cuz i doubt any of it has been replaced....
O2 Sensor ~ $40
Fuel Filter ~ $20-50 (depending on the filter)

Injectors - You don't need to replace them unless they are damaged. Simply having them cleaned and flow balanced is sufficient most of the time. That costs $24 per injector at RC Engineering.

Now, this is assuming you are doing all the labor. If you are going to have a shop do it, the injectors will cost quite a hefty price for that work (the others will be cheaper).

huh, I've always been able to get 24-25 on pure highway, which is what was on the sticker that came on the car.

On avg I get about 19 thats a mix of city, highway, and some fast as hell entrance ramps onto the interstate lol

I have got as low as 10ish if I floor it everywhere i go which must be what most people on here are doing. Or at leas thats what I have to assume. If you hit full boost no matter where your foot in on the petal its just like flooring it. The fuel map is rpm boost triggered. If your at 3000rpms and hit 10psi of boost with half throttle you might as well have it on the floor cause you just used the same amount of fuel.

Thats why I said stay out of the boost or at least keep it low and you'll do ok. You can get around faster than most cars at 5psi of boost and get good gas mileage.

I did 350km with 50L of 98 octane gasoline with my first fuel tank. That is about 14.3L/100km, which is not bad I think - aprox. the same my friend gets on average with his tuned 300ZX TT.

I have been getting 11 or so lately. I think I have some kind of ground or temp issue with my oxygen sensor (replaced the sensor -- still reads lean all the time, even though I know the car is rich), which probably isn't helping anything. My plugs are old, and I think my plug wires might be crappy. I am sure it runs rich, too. Time to get the wideband installed and do some part-throttle map tuning.

When the oxygen sensor worked better I used to get about 13-15 city with a little highway. The best I have ever gotten on the highway is 20-21, and I usually get less, like the high teens.

On the track, I get 5-6 MPG.

I get relateively crappy mileage in my other car, too, so I am sure my driving has something to do with it.

ok, I dont know how good the fuel gauge is, but its just about empty, under an 1/8 of a tank by the reading, and the mileage from the trip., says 167. I think thats incredibly poor. How good is this fuel gauge? I mean, it could be off a bit, but all the way down already? jeez.

Mixed driving, most of it highway. I tend not to drive the FD in the city. My clutch leg gets cramps from waiting at the traffic lights.

93 stock (but for DP) Touring, 17 city/mixed.

WITH occaisonal freeway entries that the local constabulary might find objectionable, if they were't chasing Altezza'd honda's with garbage can exhaust tips.

I just smile and wave.....

Replace Stock ECU with PFC.
On mine the AFR for WOT is 10.9 from 3K to 7K.
So I think the stock ECU is dumping lots of fuel.
I think when you change to PFC, you can lean it out to AFR 11+, and gain some power at the same time increase mileage...
I don't have it yet though.
