so i apperently cannot edit anything since the website dosnt recognise me as ever loged in, to post i have to sign in every time.

Edit from above :

and actually you shouldn't feel sorry for my car. since its off its wheels right now in the garage away from weather ;P

sorry for loosing it, im a bad temper.

the car did not blow up, nor is it on the street, this is my "fun car"

the motor is getting pulled in 3 months when all my **** gets here

and yes actually i am building the car for fun.
i was to run 15lbs of boost make about 400hp to the wheels. that is why i got this turbo at the same time.
i have free dyno access so yes i will do a proper tune,

and yes i am getting a power fc. that is the first thing to go into the car!

will post build pics when its going.

and when i said the question was answered. it was answered by this

YOUR on a single turbo with a STOCK ECU?!?!?!?!?!?! do not drive the car anymore, your asking for problems!!! i highly suggest not driving the car until you get a power FC and proper tune.
Thanks rx7rcer09

no one is trying to be a dick, but as you show in your posts you know little about FD RX-7's. is there any reason your going to rebuild? im just curious how you got the car to run on a stock ECU with a ported motor let alone a single turbo?!? my suggestion to you is to get a power FC, upgrade your fuel system to larger secondary injectors upgrade the fuel pump and add items such as meth injection and ignition amp as those will further help your car. The FD is pre OBDII and the factory ecu is a slow unit unable to handle advancements in air flow and exhaust with the mods you stated. it would most likely jump into limp mode not allowing you to drive the car, my final word of advice would be to take the help of other forum members as they can of great help if approached with a positive attitude!

for comparison

I recently took my car on a long road trip it is ported and has a single turbo, however I run at relative low boost levels 12 to 14psi and about 350 to 400 whp and with supporting mods and tune as posters are encouraging you to look into. Trip was a lot of two lanes with lots of hills and passing of slower vehicles. I got 22 to 25 mpg, checked at ever fuel stop on the trip. Lowest I saw was 20 mpg during an especially sprited and fun section of road. Granted not great mileage compared to todays vehicles but impressive when compared to others of same performance levels. I found when starting to mod my car a few dead ends and questionable advise and no single simple answers. It is a journey that lots of members on the forum have gone down. I would encourage you to read past posts as as the forum has matured, a lot of good info has been discussed and as you see from the responses patience for items covered over and over is low. As with any public envolvment there is a range of responces from helpful to rude, overall you can find good advise particulary if you ask well thought out questions.

Enjoy the car as it has great performance potential and high fun factor.
