Babbling brook behind glove box?

OK, I know this can't be a good thing so I am trying to address it ASAP. If anyone could help me out, or experience this let me know please.

Yesterday I was drivng home and I took a turn at a nice rate. When I did I heard this water sound that seemed to come from behind the glove box/ air bag part of the dash. It sounded like a little babbling brook. Well it went away in like 1.5 sec so I kept driving. Later that night I took another turn, not even fast, and I heard it again! Again it lasted about til I got out of the tun then it went away.

Does anyone know what this is?

thanks mucho, hehe

Air in the cooling system. You may be able to get it out by "burping" the system (search), otherwise it may be a sign of a bad coolant seal. This hopefully isn't the case, though it was for me. Good luck though!

Sounds like air in the heater core. I'd check my fluid level in the radiator fill, make sure you get all the air out of the system. Also check the carpet to see if it is wet, and under the car to ensure you don't have a leak. Either that or grab a good book, lay down next to the passenger door, and let the sound lull you to sleep!

I just searched "blurp" and "coolant blurp" and really didnt come up with anything helpful. What is the easy way to do this? Any guru tips from the gods of the FD?

thanks,
