Avc-r off @ 7psi / avc-r on @ 1.1 bar..!!

Guys,

I canīt make my AVC-R to work.

I think I completed all the installation steps according to manual found here, and the result is what I wrote on the title.

When I turn it OFF I get 0.7 BAR at the most, if I turn it on [A] mode I get to 1.1 Bar (I raised the pedal at that Boost), could be even more.

The Max Boost is set on 0.6BAR @ 40% duty cycles.

Any idea what to check ??

I re checked averything and couldnīt find any problem...

Help..!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the solenoid itself, did you run the hose for the COM port to your pressure source and the hose for the NO port to the wastegate? Where did you source the pressure for your COM port? There isn't a restricter of any source is there?

Turn off "Learn GEAR"

and for now set all your F/B Speed to off ("X").

These changes will make your boost controller basically a dumb solenoid driver (open loop only) for now. Try setting duty to 20% for now. See if raising or lower the duty cycle setting affects the boost. Try 20%, 30%, 40%, etc. It should have at least some effect on boost.

Is your wastegate ported? If not you need to do some reading on "boost creep". It is possible this is what is happening and you will not be able to control it with just the boost controller. Make sure the BC is connected like stated above, and you have it set up correctly in your settings. If the problem persists, you have another issue with boost control. (or a bad BC).

One more question. You say in the title that you get 7psi with the BC off and in your first post you say you get 0.7bar with it off. Which is it? That is more than 3psi difference. It is the difference between running off the wastegate pressure as you should be or possibly spiking or creeping higher.
