Autometer grounding help
Ok I have just installed my new boost gauge and everything works fine except the back light. One of the wires has been grounded and the other spliced into the ashtray light. The ashtray light still comes on but no dice for the back light. Can anyone direct me to another good spot to power the gauge light? Also if this is the wrong place for my topic please link me to where I'm supposed to post it. Thanks

make sure you have a good ground. you know there is voltage at the wire for the light. use a voltmeter to check voltage from your ground connection and where you tapped into the wire for the ashtray light.
