Auto to Trans Wiring and Flywheel Question.

For those who have done the Auto to MAnual Swap I was wondering on a few things.

Do ya gotta get the stock Flywheel surfaced or lighted to use since there is a front counterweight on the auto engine? I know all this can be avoiding if you get a lightweight Flywheel also right? So if you get a light weight flywheel , you can keep the front counterweight on right?

Also on the wiring.. Im going to adjust my Auto harness to work with the 5 speed. I have an extra harness I can use to splice stuff. I also have a newer harness I can just replace the whole thing with later down the road, but for now im going to just splice it to work with the 5 speed. What information if anyone PLEASE can you tell me about the wiring part if you spliced the auto harness to work with the Manual.. I know you have to change or adjust a few things like the following: The 1-2 Switch, the neutral switch, the Starter switch. Are those the only things i need to adjust?

Any info you have to share about the wiring and what needs to be done is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you so much..

Hi, I'm new to the forum but I've been looking for a used RX-7 for some time. I recently came across one that was a very good deal and in very good condition. The only problem is, it is an auto and I want a manual (my current daily driver is an auto). That is when I stumbled across this post. Can anybody give me any information regarding an auto to manual conversion, specifically, cost and what kind of labor is involved. Any information you guys could provide would be extremely helpful in making a decision. Thanks!
