Auto trans shift kit

Hi guys, has anyone fitted a modified valve body to their oem auto trans?

I just installed a stage 2 shift kit and billet servo, and now my gear shift points have dropped down to 5500 rpm instead of the 7000-7500 it has always shifted at.
The same when it drops down gears on WOT, instead of dropping down to say 6k it drops down to 4k or so.

The transmission place who did my valve body say the PCM solely controls the shift point and the box must have used to slip so much between changes that it was meant to change at 5.5k but wouldn't actually shift until 7-7.5k, but now because it shifts much harder its engaging at the correct rpm. I find it a little hard to believe the correct shift point is 5.5k and mazda knew the box shifted so slowly that they created a 2k buffer to shift at redline... But hey I'm no expert.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this, or have any idea why this is happening?

Cheers guys

Ok so i just took the car for a highway drive, and 2->3 revs out to over 8k! But 1->2 was still revving out to 5.7k. So this was half positive news.

But in a turn of events, i was trying to video some runs, i had just video'ed one and as usual 1->2 was at 5.7k, but then i did another run a couple of minutes later, and this time 1->2 revved out to over 7k! This happened for the next consecutive couple of runs...

I was thinking maybe the PCM is learning. But I did also notice that gearbox oil temp was around 79-80 celsius when this happened. And i think usually the temp is in the 60s. So was wondering if the hotter temp was somehow letting it hold the gear longer.

But I then did a few more runs later on, and even with the temp up to 75, again it was changing at 5.7k :/
