Auto tranny dropping resistor
I am trying to figure out exactly what this resistor does. It resides on the passinger side inner fender next to the relays. Mine is showing zero resistance, so it's bad. Has anyone had experience with what this does and what happens when it goes bad ? Can I buy a resistor from Radio shack to replace it with ?
Thanks, Tom

Anyone out there done a auto to manual swap ? Ok, well you have one sitting on your pass side fender doing nothing now. Help me out, pull it off ( one bolt, one connector ) and tell me you have my solution in hand.
Thanks, tom

Heck it's stands out so obvious, pic would not help. It sits right there on the pass side fender, right next to the fan relays. I guess Mazda put it there for air to move past it and cool it. Anyway if you have an auto, raise the hood and look, it'll be there or car ain't moving. Somebody has a junker automatic with one on it.
Find it and contact me and I'll trade you a Petitt Boost gauge for it
