Auto to Manual - Speific Question

I know there is a few threads on this already.

How do the exsisting wires from the auto car, plug into the manual gearbox ?

I have four plugs on each.

What are the four on the auto, 1 is obviously a speed sensor

What are the other three ? They look different too whats on the manual gearbox.

Thanks.

Well Done Wanklin,

You just had too impress all your internet friends didn't you.

If you have really read the conversion threads, the answer is not clearly there. I'm not interested in wiring changes, or splicing looms.

Read my question.

You are the best.

Signed.
Me.

You can also look at my old posts under my old name, I did the swap and it was well worth it. It is hard to get the assist from others here on such a topic as it's sort of a beaten horse but the info is also so spread out among the forums that even with searching it *can* be a little hard to gather.

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/mt-trans-swappy-mcmoots-354381/

If you have any questions you can PM me and I'll offer what I can but between the info I learned and the knowledge posted by EJMack in the thread, there should be plenty to go on for the swap.

For reference, I used an M2 manual ECU, left the automatics sister computer (smaller box mounted to the side of the ECU connected, I used all automatic wiring and ran wiring to the manual components as they all have a relative automatic sensor/switch/function.

I need to actually make a thread outlining the ACTUAL information as I was still learning and asking a lot of questions back then. I've done two swaps now and it isn't very hard, just looks like a mountain starting out. Take some of what I had said in there to be ignorance and Dale and others helped correct some but not all of it is %100 golden to the swap just yet, it is a great starting point for the main info though.

_Kris

the speedo plugs right in, you need to splice the red/yellow together with the blue/yellow wires on the engine harness. The reverse lights I will have too look at my car to remember which one they are
