auto and manual engine harness the same ?
to name at least one the engine harness for man. has like 3 or 4 plugs that connect to the 1and2 gear sensor, back up light switch and others i don't remerber right now. but they are not the same
They're very similar, but there are some differences, such as those Kempo listed.
For my Auto -> Manual conversion, which starts next week, I'm keeping the Auto harness, but I have a manual harness for extra clips, etc, should I need them. However, I do know of several members who did a complete swap with almost no extra wiring at all (just disabled the clutch switch so the car would start). They didn't, however, have working reverse lights.

Just dont hook tranny sensors up. I might do it one day but there is no need for it.The auto and manual harness are different in the engine bay and behind the dash, i dont believe you can get just a manual harness for the engine bay because it wont hooko up directly to the dash harness.
