It should be designed using 3D CAD program and then CNC machined. The tank should be cut out from a thich wall aluminum tubing and threaded with hole for the top and bottom tank cover to bolt on. The top and bottem tank cover should be CNC machined from a billet aluminum. The Mazdaspeed logo should be programmed and machine from the CNC machine at the same time when doing the top on the top tank cover. I hope the person who design and fabricator put a grove between the tank and the cover for O-ring installation to prevent any coolant leak.

I don't think there is a manufacturer. I think it is made from the guy who design it and machine by his own machine shop. If the price is lower I will get one this rather than the RX7store one which I had and doesn't really like it at all.

On the CAD image in his Ebay listing it shows O-rings. I want to hear from people who actually bought and use it to see if there is any problem. I would want to replace my leaking RX7store AST (started to leak after few months) with this nice looking one.

Sure...
Yeah...sure it's phony. It doesn't say Megan Racing on it so we're the only ones who are ever gonna know. I say it's JDM Mazdaspeed directly imported from Japan, designed first for use on the 787B racecar and now in production for the FD. HAHA
