AST Elimination

I seem to notice in all the pics i see of fd main coolant inlet there is a two bolt radiator cap filler but mine is one solid piece. I want to eliminate my ast but i dont have that on mine and its a solid unit. Did this only come on the later models??

yeah yours is probly an early 93, the later 93's-95's had a bolt on style, i prsonally wouldn't do it any way, i did it a while back and the car always had cooling issues, put the asp back on and all was good.
