ARGH...car keeps cutting off?!
I have a 93 R1 with the following mods:
Engine (0 MILES)
- Street Ports (4 intake + 2 exhaust ports)
- Competition Oil Jet Plugs
- Hayes Teflon Impregnated Coolant Seals
- Ported Oil Passages
Non-sequential twin turbos and exhaust manifold (5000 mile)
- (port matched /Swain ceramic coated)
- (ported 1.25" wastegate)
- NO axial or radial shaft play
Wolf 3D Engine Management Computer
J&S SafeGuard Knock Control (w. Knock Display)
Crooked Willow Racing Intercooler (WITH carbonfiber duct)
Crooked Willow Racingcarbonfiber enclosed intake
Crooked Willow Racing Dual MOCAL Oil Cooler upgrade
-(w. carbonfiber ducts)
Pettit 3" Downpipe (Swain ceramic coated)
Pettit 3" SS Resonated Midpipe

I bought this car off a fellow board member a few months back. i haven't gotten a chance to drive it much due to the cold cleveland weather, but when it is nice i take the car out for a spin.
Now the problems:
If i'm crusing on the highway in 5th gear around ~3krpm and decide to downshift to 4th, the car will rev up and then DIE. it completely shut down, so dangerous.
The car will do this if i'm shifting from 1st to 2nd ~4krpms, but it only does it every other time i drive the car!!
any ideas??!?? I called Jason at Rx7store and he thinks its a bad ground. Any other suggestions??!?
