SR Motor Sports Stage II Turbo Install
Boy that was fun. Had to have the frame rail clearanced....Took it to the body shop and had my guy work the frame so it fits.....wasnt keen on beating the frame so made sure it was done right and made sure it cleared plenty. Was told be them that it may even vibrate on the frame.....just didnt sound good to me. Dont want my turbo resting on the frame.....engine torqe makes me nervous in that instance. Well dont have to worry about it now.

wow, that sounds like a HUGE ordeal. Did you know going in that clearance was an issue? If not, seems like SR should really make a point of telling customers this info.

Ray tells you and the instructions tell you that the frame rail will need to "persuasion" to fit the manifold and turbo without rubbing or hitting. Wasn't that big of a deal considering how great the turbo kit is. I went 10's with it on a stock reman at only 20psi. Don't know of any other single turbo setups that will do that on a reman at only 20psi. Yes, I have a fantastic tuner, but it still says alot for the turbo kit.
