Apexi PFC boost help?
Apexi PFC boost help?
Was wondering if anyone here could offer some help with boost issues I am having.
I have been running an apexi power fc for about a week now. My low boost setting is at .75, with base duty at 56%. I can consistently get boost of over .80 and i have hit max of .88 on this setting. I havent even attempted to set the boost on my higher setting at .85 since i can hit this on my low setting. Does this indicate any potential problem? Can i just lower the base duty %? and how much? and would this cause any problems?
Also according to the pfc commander, when i hit .88 boost, max injector duty was only 59% and highest ever i have hit was 75%.
thanks,
rob

and have you compared your boost gauge to the powerFC? I find my power FC is not accurate much past 11 psi.
I have my primary and secondary set at the base map default...at 3rd gear WOT I see 11- 8.5,9- 12.5 PSI on the Defi linksys boost gauge...on the PFC I can't remember what it was but it was about 1.5 PSI lower than the defi gauge...
I guess my real question is, if I have Intake, CB, DP, with Basemap on PFC what are UNsafe boost levels?
