Perhaps APEX wanted a lower pressure higher speed flow of exhaust gasses though there mufflers for some reason, perhaps because they found a way to make performance gains off it.
Before you go rain on somebody's parade with unsubstantial evidence how about you use your brain first. Now if Zerobanger runs his car and the performance is lower then expected I would admit it is an inferior exhaust. Your claim, that a smaller inlet will hamper performance gains is groundless, unless you have a formal education in fluid dynamics, or have some sort of physical proof.

As far as performance I won't argue your point. However, the only other "proof" people have had on this exhaust is the "butt-o-meter". I know that my "butt-o-meter" said I lost power going from my JIC to the Apexi duals. Thank God I hadn't sold the JIC yet as that went right back on. I know I LOVED the look of the duals, but damn that thing was freaking loud.

jspecracer7 do you have a 20B in your FD? Did you try to use the Apex N1 Duals with it? The exhaust might be optimized for 13B applications and that could explain why you lost performance with it.
When you are talking about a 72mm inlet are you talking about where it couples to the rest of the exhaust system?

I'm not exactly sure of the inlet size, but it was around 70(could have been more or less) The internal diameter of the pipe is smaller than all the other exhausts. I measured it where the apexi bolts up to the stock cat.
