If you do decide to get the N1, I have one for sale brand new, never before used or mounted with gasket included. PM if you're interested.

IMO, neither. They are both very loud. I would check out the RS-R GT2 catback:

The apexi gt spec is the SECOND largest flowing exhaust on the market, next to the hks titanium which is around 1k. I had mine gt spec bent as it was hitting my rear bumper, they replaced the 3.74" piping with 4" piping and that annoying more high pitched sound went away and was replaced with a loud deep rumble. It was amazing what .25" made for making it sound so much deeper. Here is how it looks on my car, sorry the photo is pretty crappy but better than nothing.

Not nearly as loud as the Apexi but still flows very well:

It might help if you post up your budget. The Apexi is pretty much by far some of the loudest exhausts available (at least in the USA). Racing Beat dual tip is very manageable to the ears, however it cost more.

If you are looking for something in the price range of thos Apexi's, check out the RSR I mentioned above. If noise is a concern, spend the extra money and get the Racing Beat dual tip.

I think how loud an exhaust is going to be, depends alot on what mods you have done to the car. A stock car with exhaust is going to sound completly different, than a single turbo with full street port. So i would keep that in mind as well.

I have the Apex'i N1 with no cats, single turbo, external wastegate, and it is INSANELY LOUD. So damn loud I am going to keep that exhaust for the track and buy the Racing Beat dual tip along with resonated midpipe for the street. I don't want the po-po to know-know. Anyone have any vids or sound clips of the RB dual tip?

I have a Apexi N1 dual, no cats, and a ported motor, and its pretty rediculously loud. Ray at PFS said it was one of if not the loudest car he's dynoed. And I absolutly love it. It all depends on what you want.

I say neither also. My recommendations by street price range...

$300-400 Blitz Nur Spec

+ 80 mm, good midrange
+ full 304 SS for durability and weight savings
+ price
- on the loud side (but not as bad as any Apexi catback

$400-$500 Racing Beat dual tip

+ 80mm and surprisingly good performance
+ great looks
+ full 304 SS
+ quiet and sounds good
- a bit heavy (31 lbs) because of bigger muffler, thicker tubing and dual tips

$500-600 Greddy Ti

+ 80 mm with 1mm thick Titanium, excellent flow
+ very light (10 lbs)
+ sounds awesome and not too loud
+ good value for a Ti exhaust
- tip is a little big

Good points here, I have the Greddy Ti and along with everyone else who owns it, i love it. Also ive heard the RB and it also sounds very nice and stays WELL under ear shattering sound levels. But if your only picking between those two, Ive personally heard the N1 with various mods(streetport w/ cat and w/o cat) and it sounds pretty nice. I cant speak for the Gt though since ive never heard it.
