Manual shows I need to cut to install the FMIC.

Do I have to ??

Found this on the forum...

Do I have to cut something on the car to make it fit on the right FMIC side ??

Thanks..!!!

The first engine bay pic you posted is a greddy m-spec.
regardless, you do need to cut that one little piece IIRC.

i dont believe you have to cut the frame, if its a front mount on the stock bumper you will have to do some cutting to make the intercooler fit.

I have that IC, there's no way in hell it's going in without cutting. That part isn't structural, when you see it it's a pretty non-substantial piece of the car. I just cut it out, then primed and painted it to keep rust away.

That's about the least amount of hacking to get a front mount in the car. You have to hack up the bumper and bumper support big time to run the Greddy. If you don't want any cutting, only way is a stock mount IC.
