apexi avcr question

i was wondering does anyone else have a problem with the avcrs readings? when i installed my avcr my pfc and boost guage read 1 bar but the avcr read nothing higher then .3 bar. and when it car is at idle the avcrs reading is off by -100 compared to the boost guage and pfc.

congratulations on running what i consider to be the best boost controller available. you will love it once it gets properly hooked up.

things to check:

the AVCR has it's own MAP sensor. it has a 5 volt hotside input. make sure you are not feeding it 12 volts. you get the 5 volts from the OEM MAP sensor that runs on 5 volts. check that you have a good ground for the AVCR MAP sensor.

check the vacuum hose to the MAP sensor. check the filter in that line also. where are you picking up your signal? from the rear of the UIM near the OEM MAP sensor?

if all of those lines are tight and you have 5 volts to the AVCR MAP sensor you would then need to check connections between the boost controller and the ECU.

most likely a loose hose....

keep us posted,

ok so i solved the problem. turns out i accidently set the controller to the wrong sensor. now i have another question i some how broke one of the tees going to the solinoid and replaced it with the tee thats used for the wastegate. now since this tee has two different sized nipples will this effect the boost controller?
