I've only driven one FD with a BOV (aftermarket) and it opened up in vacuum (pretty loud too) but I'm not sure what vacuum reading it was. My stock BOV opens up as soon as I let off the gas at WOT to shift (it's pretty loud too)

Is it adjustable

The more vacuum the more it opens, if it's adjustable you should be able to set it from soft (opens farther with lower vacuum) to hard (takes higher vacuum to open it farther. I'm not sure if this is what your looking for but it's my understanding of how these work (could be all wet here) the jest of it is it opens with vacuum to allow the boost pressure to vent (the woosh you hear) between gears or letting off throttle at high rpm.:o

Well, i had it on my supra and after that experience, i wouldnt dare put in on my fd. It just leaked alot and on top of that, it sounded like ****. It just didnt perform well at all. I really liked the hks ssqv. Great sound and never caused one problem to me. Try it out
