Yes, it is a very nice turbo... You can get ~350RWHP realisticly out of a 13B..

Although people have gotten 400+RWHP, it is not really that common. You would need a good engine setup and tune to get that.

Oh, and it spools up about as fast as the stock twins but removes complexity and heat. it is also more efficient which means it is more nice to your engine.

um, well it has a T3 footprint and a T4 compressor.. so you could use any T3 turbo.. (But most would be to small)

You might be able to bolt on a GT35/40, but i am not sure if that would fit. but it would be your only option for a more powerfull turbo that i know of.

You might want to rethink this turbo. Word has it that the price has increased dramatically so they are now one of the most expensive turbo kits to buy. What do you want out of a single turbo? Power for drag? Spool up for autox? A mixture for track?

You just bought the turbo or the whole kit?

If it's the whole kit and you want to get rid of it you might want to see if this guy wants it:

That is if you really do have it. Also with only 20 post counts most people will probably want you to send it C.O.D. for their protection.

I think the price is going up because of it's ability to keep the air pump and lack of lag. With the constant tightening of emmissions, the air pump thing can make the choice for people very easy. The ability to make good power, with more reliability, and quick spool up is a no brainer. They do say that the power tails off alittle up top. Do a search, there is plenty of material on this.
Dave at KD is trying to get me to buy a Garrett. I don't kbow the model of the turbo, but he says I can make about 390RWHP with it. I want to pass emmissions, so I guess I would have to get a Corvette airpump. It certainly is cheaper. I don't know how well it works though. I am truly on the fence about which single to get. I trust Dave at KD infinitely, but i'm intrigued by the T-78, and the Apexi. I'm leaning towards Apexi. The T-78 is a proven setup, with insane top end, but you can't keep the stock air pump. Same with the Garrett, although it doesn't seem quite as common.

T78 and the Apexi are in a completely different ball park.

You should look at the inovative turbos, they can make alot of different turbos to pretty much fit any need.. and they are REALLY nice quallity (so i hear)
