Apex-i intake in conjunction with smic
This question has probably been covered. By extensive searching I have not got to all of the information needed to tell exactly which "bigger" smic fits with the apexi intake. I pose this because I have a apexi intake and do not see a need (economically) to get a cold air induction box just to fit the IC.
These are the Intercoolers I am interested in knowing wether a apexi intake will fit:
Crooked Willow
Peter Ferrel
M2(medium and large)
Petit Racing
RX-7 store

in almsot all likely hood, the apex-i intakes can be "made" to fit most of the ICs you mentioned. I'm not sure about the m2 units however, but the PFS units would probally be best. The main thing is that you will most likely have to custom the pipes or move things around a bit. The main problem i see with the apex unit is that the primary intake sits behind the intercooler or the radiator. Thus it's totally sucking in hot air...not a great idea.

i have the greddy smic, supposely one of the smallest. and one of the apex cones touch the ic. so i cant imagine it fiiting with anything bigger, without custom modifications.
