Apex Exhaust Valve Controller (ECV)

Has anybody been able to adapt one of these to an FD or use one of these?

Hers a link explaining it. http://www.takakaira.com/php/template.php3?id=274&cat=2

I want to get a MP but I don't want to wake my neighbors everytime I come home late so this would be perfect if works good.

Any one think this is possible. I'm surprised they don't have one for the FD listed.

Australian guys like them ... that is where I have seen it before ..... I have long sense thought of building this valve with a control system to minimize spool-up time would be a great idea. I would be curious about fuel economy too.

I like the idea, but I would rather the valve open up with respect to boost or rpms or something. It is basically a manual valve that you pull with lever. From what it looks like it is strictly for noise control. It did peak my interest though. I wonder how much these things cost?
