I am using this pump.

Overall, I am very happy with the pump. It has been very reliable with aproximately 5k miles at my current power level of 386whp. Installation was very straight forward. I used a stainless hose clamp to secure the pump to the assembly, but that was about it.

My biggest complaint with the pump is its flow and price. 280LPH is fine for 400whp, but anything beyond that and I would look into another pump or duals. I realize that the Rotary Extreme site lists it as a 485whp capable pump. I personally would not push it this hard. And the main issue, the cost is simply too high. If it was a 340, I would gladly pay it again. SaRD is a Japanese company and as such, their prices tend to be higher. However, I will likely switch to an Aeromitve Stealth as I turn up the boost.

I bought the pump because I was placing a large order with Ben at Rotary Extreme. I like suppporting the small business owners, and their Vmount is nothing short of spectacular. I paid the extra price for a very quality product. I just wish it flowed more LPH....

I do agree with this. It is cheaper and flows a bit more. The Single section has a nice thread on it. Like most new products, they did have a few issues when it was first released, but many people use it with great success.

Either choice will work fine for your needs.

The Bosch's 040 in-tank is 300lph. The 044 is an external that flows the same.....

The SaRD is 280lph.....

This is my SaRD next to my old Walbro, just before I swapped them.... It doesn't look like the Bosch pump. What are you using for a basis?

I remember at one point the ones they were selling was a Bosch fuel pump. Now it looks like they are using Denso fuel pumps as their pumps.

I'Ve got the 280lph pump in my modded fc, i then dissambled the car to prepare it for the track and sold the pumpt to a good friend of mine.
He uses it in his ~400hp single turbo fd3s without any problems

I wonder what the true limites of this pump is?

RE's website says 485whp. I like to overbuild things when it comes to rotaries.... especially fuel.
