Anyone using Apexi Auto Meter?
Do you guys know how to read the A/F reading?? The reading using show between 12-20 depends on the how you throttle, does it mean it's too lean or too rich?? Please advise.

the only times when this matters is only at WOT, so dont worry about the numbers jumping around, cause that is normal.

I always thought it was the opposite way around, where the lower the number is, the leaner you are running
i dont really regard it that accurate since the stock o2 sensor isnt that great.
at WOT mine would dip to 11.9, and many times when i let off on the gas or would be idling at a light it would be at 18-20. Sometimes it would just read -- --

The higher the the number is more lean. Think of it like this If you have a # that is 13 that is a ratio of 13 parts air to one part fuel I.E. 13:1 so the bigger the number the more air for the same amount of fuel. From what I see most guys tune their RX-7's for a A/F in the 10-11 range some go as high as mid 12's for more power but you risk hurting the motor.

theoretical ideal is 14.7 I think. So anything below that during cruising is ok. Better to be rich when you do WOT. Mine is 14.6 idling, 20 when I let of gas when cruising and 10 when I WOT.
